Free Godaddy Domains - For Real!

Got a Google email alert today about a nice IndyCar promo from Godaddy that offers a FREE domain (.com, .net, .org, or .biz) for a simple newsletter subscription about the IndyCar races. I already have a GoDaddy account so subscribing to their newsletter was no problem. The great thing about this promo was I'm getting a free domain PLUS I get to send the same rewards to 5 of my friends so they can also get 1 free domain each for doing nothing!

After completing the subscription, you're given a promo code to input before you check out of your Godaddy shopping cart. Once you apply the code, everything is taken off even including the ICANN-fee. Check out my screenshot of my shopping cart earlier.
I had the option to send 5 other free domains to friends but guess what I did? I sent it to 5 of my other email addresses! Ha! I know... I'm a cheat. I haven't tried to register the 5 other free domains though. I'll save those for later when a cool domain idea comes up.

If you'd like to do the same, get a free domain and give 5 others free domains as well. Here's the IndyCar Godaddy link. Remember, makes sure you ain't paying nothing before you check out by following the instructions on the link and makes sure the total cost is $0.00 before you check out. You don't even have to input financial information. You can use the "gift card" option and then input the promo code. That should make the shopping cart amount to $0.00.
