I got my own VIP .tel domains today!

Telnic Communications Director Justin Hayward liked my buyteldomains.com blog (so much?), he gave me a trial .tel domain today! We emailed back and forth several times and found him to be a cool guy to connect with. I would have gone back and forth with him some more but I knew he has a busy guy so I had to lay off him... (for now...) LOL.

Whether you loved the .me domains or not, I assure you you'll like .tel domains. In fact, I would hate to say this but I now believe that the .tel will be more valuable/important domain to have than the .me domain. Why? Few reasons...

1. The .tel domain can facilitate your or your company's visibility online. A .tel domain user can store all his/her contact information on the page. The system in turn embeds these information to the DNS. Once indexed by the search engines, the user's information along with his "keywords" can be easily found online. No other domain extension gives users this opportunity. The user has the full control over which information he wishes to publicly publish of course!

2. Since keywords can be embedded in the DNS, search engine users will be able to find pertinent services and products the user offers and direct them to the .tel page. Talk about business edge! Virtually all internet users use search engines to find services, products and contact information online. With the top search engine ranking, a .tel domain page can virtually siphon all business for you through search engine results.

3. A published contact information on a .tel domain page will launch the corresponding application making it easy for anybody to contact the user in any application they wish to contact the user be it email, phone, I.M. or Skype.

4. Device integrations are coming. Blackberries, Iphones and Windows Mobile OS devices will soon be integrated with .tel capabilities making it easier for the mobile device owner to look-up information and easier for the .tel user to be found online.

A .tel domain may not be something a user can be aesthetically creative with but when it comes to functionality and user benefits, a .tel domain trumps a .me domain anytime!
